Warehouse Supervisor

About This Role

Coordinate and execute warehouse operations and procedures to ensure departmental effectiveness and efficiency. This role supports event preparation by overseeing tasks and delegating responsibilities to warehouse staff while maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and sanitation in storage areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan all warehousing activities with Management team
• Delegate responsibilities to Warehouse associates
• Assist with the intake of deliveries by receiving, storing and distributing all items to designated storage locations
• Oversee the proper execution of delivering food, beverage and other products throughout the venue in a safe and timely manner
• Collect invoices from all new product deliveries as they are received
• Compare Purchase Orders to what was delivered and communicate any variances or discrepancies to management
• Use storage systems, policies and procedures to ensure maximum use and efficiency of space and storage areas
• Submit reports to management regarding any damage, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of goods to vendor
• Inspect stands for deficiencies and report concerns to Management
• Assist with moving any equipment as required for events throughout the venue
• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning around all Concessions and Warehouse areas
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, speak and write English
• Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
• Punctual and dependable
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in the receipt, storage or distribution of food and beverage, supplies or equipment preferred.

• Forklift Certification
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
