Suites Runner

About This Role

Provide exceptional guest service as a Suite Runner at Yankee Stadium, working collaboratively in Premium Services to deliver preordered food and beverages to guests in suites and premium seating areas.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests to assure satisfaction, delivering food ordered from the application for the first 16 rows
• Provide personal service and attention to detail, carding every guest every time
• Run preordered food, soda, water, wine, draft beer, and bottled beer to guest seats (up and down stairs during the game)
• Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the stadium
• Support service staff by clearing/cleaning service area and running food, expo orders combining drinks and food
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
• Be knowledgeable of other food, beverage, and retail outlets within the stadium

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, alcohol service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team oriented setting
• Ability to read, speak and write English Language to communicate with guests and card transactions
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
• Ability to carry trays full of up to 10 beverages and food while navigating crowds and stairs
• Ability to work all seasonal Nuggets events, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
• Ability to move between guest seating areas, and up and down stairs for each delivery in the first 16 rows of the arena

Qualifications

• 2-3 years working in a fast-paced, high-end club, catering, or restaurant environment.
