Beverage Supervisor

About This Role

Direct all activities of the beverage department, including inventory management, coordination of resources, and development of beverage programs, to ensure high standards of quality and service while maximizing profits.

Responsibilities

• Direct all activities of the beverage department
• Conduct monthly inventory to ensure all alcoholic beverages are accounted for
• Coordinate the movement of beverages and equipment per restaurant and catering operations
• Provide overall operational and financial responsibility of beverage outlet
• Maintain the highest standards of beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through excellent customer service
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager regarding beverage orders
• Develop drink menus
• Monitor beverage inventory and pricing on a daily basis regarding changes to restaurant bar menus
• Develop and institute beverage training to the Food & Beverage team
• Conduct training on state and local beverage laws and regulations, including proper customer service of all alcohol products
• Provide a safe and reliable environment for customers and employees
• Ensure exceptional customer service

Requirements

• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including: mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance standards
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting to set up and execute an event
• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to read, speak and write English Language in order to interact with staff and guests

Qualifications

• College Degree preferred
• Food & Beverage and/or Restaurant experience preferred
