Warehouse Supervisor

About This Role

The Warehouse Supervisor ensures safe and appropriate delivery of pharmacy products and medical equipment, ensures compliance with professional and regulatory standards, and assists with purchasing and receipt of products. This role supervises delivery technicians and coordinates product shipping.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and confirm the timely and cost-efficient delivery of medical supplies to patients using Option Care staff and outside couriers.
• Manage daily warehouse activities with a priority on pharmaceutical product delivery.
• Maintain a professional and safe warehouse work area, including receiving/shipping.
• Train and supervise all delivery technicians.
• Perform product purchasing, inventory, and equipment management.
• Maintain a delivery log and track the number and cost of deliveries.
• Observe legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding patient and proprietary information and comply with safety, quality assurance, state, and federal laws.
• Ensure appropriate maintenance of fleet vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Participate as a member of the facility management team and in on-call responsibilities if required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of supervisory experience in purchasing, warehouse or delivery operations OR 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, warehouse, or delivery operations with demonstrated progression
• Experience purchasing equipment and supplies
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers
• Basic email skills
• Basic PC skills
• Experience establishing and maintaining relationships at all organizational levels and with vendors
• Experience using time management skills (prioritizing, organizing, tracking details, meeting deadlines)
• Proof of current automobile insurance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in purchasing, warehouse, or delivery operations, OR 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, warehouse, or delivery operations with demonstrated progression.

Nice to Have

• 2+ years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people
• Prior experience working in an infusion pharmacy or DME operation
