About This Role

This role involves directly supervising warehouse employees and processes to ensure maximum operational efficiency, meet quality and productivity goals, and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily operations are safe and effective
  • Organize the warehouse and strategically use resources to maximize efficiency
  • Develop and implement new ideas to improve performance and reduce cost
  • Oversee employee training and ensure adherence to procedures
  • Operate powered industrial trucks and RF Scanners for general warehouse duties
  • Establish a visible presence in the warehouse, monitoring product flow and addressing issues promptly
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all employees
  • Establish and maintain cross-training and adjust personnel assignments to maximize output
  • Assist with managing time off requests and ensuring proper staffing levels
  • Assist Management with monitoring and implementing process changes to eliminate non-value-added work content
  • Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles clear, and performing safety audits
  • Ensure all personnel are current with new and updated procedures in the Learning Management System (Litmos)
  • Maintain compliance with FDA, OSHA, and Pride policies and procedures
  • Assist with staff management including documenting objectives, motivating teams, conducting performance appraisals, and addressing issues
  • Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and incidents are reported
  • Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training
  • Assist with assigning, training, and developing staff based on experience and departmental goals
  • Assist with developing goals and objectives, and measuring outcomes
  • Focus on continuous improvement and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
  • Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of production, warehouse and/or distribution center experience
  • Safely operating various types of forklifts/industrial powered equipment and RF scanners
  • At least 1 year of experience directing the work of other employees as a Lead or Supervisor
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to guide, direct, and motivate staff
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Ability to operate all warehouse equipment, including a vertical lift at heights up to 30 feet
  • Flexibility with working hours based on business needs
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence and collaboration
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 5 years of production, warehouse and/or distribution center experience including safely operating various types of forklifts/industrial powered equipment and RF scanners, and at least 1 year of experience directing the work of other employees as a Lead or Supervisor.

Nice to Have

  • At least 3 years of experience with supervising at least 10 staff members
  • Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation
  • Strong working knowledge of warehousing/distribution standard concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Basic working knowledge of Oracle
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
