VAS Associate

About This Role

The VAS Associate 2 is responsible for completing Co-Packing projects by assembling products and displays while ensuring quality standards. This role involves operating various machines and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble various products and displays according to customer specifications
• Operate Wrap Heat Tunnel Machine
• Operate Ink Injector and Tape Machine
• Stack cases onto pallets according to specifications
• Perform rework and inspection on products
• Complete necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time
• Be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks
• Work on a continuous flow production line

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Attention to detail and ability to follow direction
• Awareness of quality standards and ability to identify defects in products
• Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency

Nice to Have

• Co-Packing or warehouse experience
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred)
• PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database experience
• Forklift certification
