About This Role

This role involves performing receptionist and secretarial duties within the Blodgett Emergency Department, maintaining confidential records, and managing supplies and equipment. The Unit Secretary will greet and direct guests, perform computer entry, schedule tests/procedures, and process orders to support the unit's operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform receptionist/secretarial duties
  • Maintain confidential records
  • Maintain supplies and equipment per hospital and unit specific standards
  • Greet and direct guests on the unit in a welcoming manner
  • Perform computer entry
  • Schedule tests/procedures
  • Process orders and other related activities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of relevant experience preferred
