Tire and Battery Center Team Leader

About This Role

Supervise a team of hourly associates in the Tire and Battery Center, maintaining in-depth knowledge of services and safety protocols to ensure excellent member service and operational success. Drive sales and efficiency by leveraging digital tools and actively participating in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate department goals and set expectations for tire and battery service, advocating for members, associates, and the company.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of safety, compliance, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, tire recalls, and product specifications.
• Share knowledge and train the team on all aspects of the business, including new products and technologies.
• Utilize digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions.
• Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintain a safe work area, and manage equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions, and work hands-on to support member service when required.
• Maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety, and compliance standards, and complete all required documentation.
• Train and teach the team, monitor e-learning completion, identify potential, and develop necessary skill sets for high-quality service.
• Encourage career growth for associates and source new talent internally and externally.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period
• 6 months supervisory experience OR 6 months experience in automotive industry
