About This Role

Supervise a team of hourly associates in the Bakery department to drive sales and ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team within the Bakery department to deliver on the business plan
• Communicate department goals and ensure execution of company programs
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of business, operations, product specifications, and seasonality
• Ensure the Bakery department meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, safety, and sanitation
• Share knowledge and train the team on new products, recipes, and production specifications
• Utilize digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
• Ensure commitment to operational excellence and maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area
• Drive consistency in quality, food safety, and company policies, maintaining accurate inventory and audit standards
• Produce and display merchandise according to the merchandise layout plan
• Teach and train the team by identifying training needs and providing necessary skills

Requirements

• 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
