Theatre Team Member

About This Role

Serve as a Cinemark Team Member, creating a welcoming environment for guests by being knowledgeable about movies, special events, and promotions, while also ensuring the highest quality in everything served throughout the theatre.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
• Operate Cinemark’s POS system for all transactions on assigned register
• Verify tickets and direct Guests to auditoriums
• Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA ratings and company policy
• Provide pricing, movie, special event, and general theatre information
• Respond to phone calls and questions from Guests professionally
• Conduct theatre inspections to monitor movie presentation and maintain a safe environment
• Keep entire theatre property clean and free from debris
• Prepare food and properly operate cooking, warming, and popping equipment
• Consistently wipe down and sanitize Employee and Guest high-contact areas
• Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws
• Monitor safety and security issues and report to management
• Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Regular and consistent attendance
• Energetic and friendly attitude
• Excellent Guest service skills
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all ages, genders, and personalities
• Ability to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend English
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Ability to take and follow direction
• Responds with a sense of urgency
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
