Server - Beer and Wine

About This Role

Serve guests food and beverages, including beer and wine, in a movie theatre setting. Provide excellent customer service, maintain accurate transactions, and ensure a positive movie-going experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
• Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment
• Accurately record food and beverage orders from Guests
• Manage all transactions done on assigned register and report concerns
• Verify identification to confirm Guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
• Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
• Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
• Consistently wipe down and sanitize Employee and Guest high-contact areas
• Monitor safety and security issues and report to management

Requirements

• Proof of age (18 or 21 depending on state for serving alcohol)
• Ability to complete basic food handling training and obtain certifications
• Ability to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attendance record
• Energetic and friendly attitude
• Excellent Guest service skills
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Ability to take and follow direction
• Responds with a sense of urgency
