Part-Time Assistant Manager

About This Role

Assist in the overall operation of a theatre, ensuring policies, procedures, and operational standards are met. This role involves supporting the General Manager, training team members, and ensuring an unforgettable experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of the General Manager and support their decisions.
• Work in all departments and theatre job functions as needed.
• Train and coach Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assist in the preparation of administrative and special reports.
• Observe and participate in the inspection of theatre property and equipment.
• Ensure Team Members follow the dress code and provide superior customer service.
• Enforce Cinemark's established policies and procedures with all Team Members.
• Report all Employee relations issues to the General Manager.
• Identify and sanitize Employee and guest high-contact areas.
• Properly address any safety or security issues.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of three basic courses within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core)
• Basic food handling training and any local/state mandated certification where required
• Safe Alcohol Service training program if working with alcohol
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Energetic and friendly attitude
• Excellent Guest service skills
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Ability to take and follow direction
• Ability to train and lead others
• Ability to resolve conflict

Qualifications

• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred
