Drive revenue growth within an assigned region by developing and nurturing customer relationships, focusing on consultative sales to ensure clients understand the value of Rehrig Pacific’s supply chain solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts using a consultative selling approach and cost-benefit analysis
- Achieve territory revenue targets through disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and territory planning
- Develop and deliver compelling solution presentations that connect Rehrig Pacific’s capabilities to customer needs
- Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer operations and positioning appropriate solutions
- Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent communication and proactive issue resolution
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, competitive activity, and industry shifts to inform strategy
- Support the development of competitive pricing strategies and value-based positioning
- Collaborate with sales leaders on multi-site, regional, and national account growth initiatives
- Partner with Marketing and Customer Service teams to deliver sales programs and support
Requirements
- 2-3 years of B2B field sales experience
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling and relationship development
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Ability to independently manage a multi-state territory with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Acceptable motor vehicle report (operation of company vehicle required)
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including air travel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of B2B field sales experience, 3+ years preferred
