Territory Sales Manager

About This Role

Lead sales and marketing efforts for Harris Supply Solutions Inc in the Houston / San Antonio markets, managing the entire sales process from quote to invoice, developing new business, and handling overall business functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales and marketing efforts for Harris Supply Solutions Inc in Houston / San Antonio and surrounding markets
• Manage the entire sales process from initial quote to final invoice
• Develop new business
• Run the day-to-day overall business functions of the company
• Travel locally to visit customers and operational parts of the business
• Develop relationships with Nucor Bar Mills in the region that supply products

Requirements

• Must live in market and be able to travel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong leadership/interpersonal skills to build trust and respect
• Ability to support change and face adversity and conflict
• General business knowledge and understanding of Nucor's financial model
• Ability to consider costs and benefits for decision making
• Teamwork skills to achieve common goals and deliver commercial updates
• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles for promoting products/services
• Customer service knowledge, including needs assessment and satisfaction evaluation
• Proactive initiative and willingness to take on responsibilities

Nice to Have

• Rebar or related construction industry knowledge
• Sales and business experience
• 4-Year college degree
