About This Role

This role delivers exceptional customer service and ensures customer and patient delight. It involves managing key optical and lab processes to achieve successful store results within LensCrafters.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed customer service
• Proactively offer solutions, execute accurately, and apply product knowledge
• Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, and assist sales associates
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses (if applicable for lab duties)
• Strengthen associates' knowledge, skill, and certification for foundational product and store processes related to lens and lab technology (if applicable for lab duties)
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements (if applicable for lab duties)
• Create a safe working environment and demonstrate safe work practices (if applicable for lab duties)
• Operate, clean, and maintain lab tools and systems (if applicable for lab duties)

Requirements

• Strong optical and retail experience
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong basic math skills
• Sales skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators
• Leadership and training experience
• Edging and mounting experience
• Basic optics knowledge and optical measurement experience

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED

Nice to Have

• State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states
• Optical machinery/instruments experience
• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and lens options
