About This Role

This Team Lead position involves performing administrative tasks, generating reports, coordinating activities, and resolving discrepancies within a warehouse or distribution environment for Ryder Supply Chain Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks for area or shift, maintaining filing systems and documents per SOP
  • Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports, memos, and summaries, often of a technical and/or confidential nature
  • Coordinate activities with clerks from other areas, customers, and providers
  • Recognize, resolve, and correct discrepancies pertaining to the warehouse, transportation, and inventory
  • Gather from and provide information to employees pertaining to area of support
  • Update area or shift metrics using the location's Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Operate equipment and receive equipment certification as required by location

Requirements

  • Ability to make quick, reliable decisions representing both customer and Ryder
  • Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience as a clerk in a warehouse / distribution environment
  • Knowledge of WMS systems
  • Experience operating forklift equipment
