About This Role

Serve as an Associate Optometrist for LensCrafters on weekends, providing high-quality eye care, conducting eye exams, and making recommendations based on patient needs. Ensure executional excellence and contribute to the growth of the practice through strong patient partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure executional excellence and winning results in partnership with the MOD and store team
  • Demonstrate commitment to exceed results through strong competency in KPI management and high accountability
  • Ensure Brand is known as the leading optical provider within the community
  • Operate as successful stakeholder to all leaders within the organization and local market
  • Place the patient/customer first and deliver excellent service
  • Strive to exceed expectations on all KPIs
  • Convey a commitment to providing unsurpassed Patient Service through ensuring staff performs service process steps
  • Address all patients/customers visual life style needs and make eyewear recommendations based on needs
  • Explain each step of the eye exam; listen carefully to patients/customers
  • Utilize available tools and visual aids to summarize and ensure patients understand each aspect of their vision, eye health, and overall well being
  • Communicate effectively with patients the need for annual eye exams and ensure all patients are appointed for their next eye exam
  • Conduct all services in accordance with protocol and accepted standards of care
  • Ensure all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations
  • Establish a positive Doctor/patient relationship
  • Utilize and leverage effectively all technology to deliver unsurpassed patient/customer experiences
  • Ensure office systems are maintained
  • Maintain State Licensure in good standing and practices to the full scope of that license, responsible for maintaining Continuing Education requirements
  • Provide effective training and guidance to team members making use of Company provided programs
  • Deliver clear, motivating and constructive feedback in a timely manner to all associates
  • Create a positive culture linked to the corporate culture; identify what motivates each individual and directs conversations and actions appropriately

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry
  • Commitment to quality patient care
  • Knowledge of current Optometric theory & technology
  • Strong communicator & listener
  • Problem solving ability
  • Solid Organization skills
  • Maintain State Licensure in good standing and meet Continuing Education requirements
