Team Lead

About This Role

This role involves providing excellent customer service in selling Tempur-Pedic products and assisting the Store Manager with daily store operations, merchandising, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Maintain Tempur Sealy’s brand standards
• Perform all Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team
• Assist the store manager with merchandising and implementing company programs
• Solve problems within the sales team and direct larger issues to the Store Manager
• Serve as a member of management when the Store Manager is not available, including opening/closing the store and covering management duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years’ retail experience with high-end luxury and/or custom products
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, direct, and train others in a store setting
• Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards
• Flexibility in work schedule

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years’ retail experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with high-end luxury and/or custom products
