Systems Administrator IV, Applications – Cerner Millennium, Beaker AP

About This Role

Lead projects and provide technical support for Cerner Millennium and Epic Beaker laboratory information systems, including incident and problem management, system analysis, and configuration, while participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and tickets from planning, design to completion related to laboratory information system management
• Manage Cerner, Epic Beaker, and various laboratory middleware systems
• Provide 24/7 technical support on rotation
• Lead incident and problem management processes, resolving complex issues and addressing escalations
• Complete work assignments and support business-specific projects by applying expertise
• Provide first and second level support for enterprise systems, diagnosing and troubleshooting complex incidents
• Plan and perform complex system configuration
• Participate in the installation, upgrades, or decommissioning of designated systems
• Create and maintain documentation of new and existing system configuration and procedural information
• Support vendor activities and participate in change management processes

Requirements

• Experience with Cerner Millennium
• Experience with Epic Beaker
• Experience with laboratory middleware
• Ability to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
