Stocker

About This Role

This role is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by performing shelf stocking and back-room duties while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests as a first priority
• Follow daily work schedule assigned by management
• Perform stocking duties including lifting, stocking product, rotating product, blocking, facing, dusting, and ordering
• Perform general housekeeping duties on sales floor and backroom areas
• Direct/take guests to items in question
• Act as front end help, such as checking and/or sacking when needed
• Perform other duties as requested or required by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
• Ability to perform all physical aspects of stocker duties, including bending, lifting, squatting, climbing, walking
• Ability to operate all ordering and backroom equipment, including a box baler, and safety cutter
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 80 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
