Stocker

About This Role

The Stocker is responsible for guest relations and satisfaction by performing shelf stocking, back-room duties, and general housekeeping tasks. This role ensures products are available and the store environment is clean for customers.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests as the first and most important responsibility
• Follow daily work schedule as assigned by management
• Perform stocking duties including lifting, stocking product, rotating product, blocking, facing, dusting, and ordering
• Perform general housekeeping duties on sales floor and backroom areas
• Direct or take guests to items in question
• Act as front end help, such as checking and/or sacking, if called upon

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
• Ability to perform all physical aspects of stocker duties, including bending, lifting, squatting, climbing, walking, and running
• Ability to operate all ordering and backroom equipment, including a box baler and safety cutter
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 80 lbs. on a regular basis
