The Staff Accountant I will contribute to global environmental solutions by assisting with a variety of accounting functions, including revenue and cost of goods adjustments, lease accounting, journal entries, and financial statement compilation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with GR/IR Maintenance and accrued freight
- Post various entries during the close period and assist with financial statement preparation
- Perform margin review and revenue recognition monthly/quarterly adjustments
- Complete monthly account reconciliations and maintain/organize master files
- Assist with global lease accounting
- Assist with physical inventories
- Maintain and process payment of internal and external commissions
- Review and approve expense reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
- 0-2 years of accounting or finance experience
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university (Accounting or Finance)
- 0-2 years of accounting or finance experience is required
Nice to Have
- SAP experience
