Staff Accountant I

About This Role

The Staff Accountant I will contribute to global environmental solutions by assisting with a variety of accounting functions, including revenue and cost of goods adjustments, lease accounting, journal entries, and financial statement compilation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with GR/IR Maintenance and accrued freight
• Post various entries during the close period and assist with financial statement preparation
• Perform margin review and revenue recognition monthly/quarterly adjustments
• Complete monthly account reconciliations and maintain/organize master files
• Assist with global lease accounting
• Assist with physical inventories
• Maintain and process payment of internal and external commissions
• Review and approve expense reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• 0-2 years of accounting or finance experience

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university (Accounting or Finance)
• 0-2 years of accounting or finance experience is required

Nice to Have

• SAP experience
