Staff Accountant

About This Role

This Staff Accountant role supports commercial property portfolios and corporate accounting functions for a stable, growth-oriented organization. Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for commercial properties and corporate operations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for internal use and year-end audit
• Execute and reconcile journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger activity
• Support year-end financial statement preparation and coordinate audit requests
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and provide analytical support to business leaders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax
• 2+ years of accounting experience (GL, budgeting/forecasting, financial statement prep/analysis)
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets
