Accounting Manager

About This Role

This Accounting Manager will oversee accounting operations, lead financial close processes, and support budgeting and forecasting to ensure financial accuracy and contribute to strategic growth within a manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and efficiency
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to drive business decisions
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory standards
• Manage and mentor a small accounting team, fostering growth and collaboration
• Work cross-functionally with operations and leadership to improve financial processes

Requirements

• 6+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Leadership skills
• Problem-solving mindset
• Ability to drive process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 6+ years of accounting experience
