Accounting Manager

About This Role

The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage financial integrity across multiple levels of care, and ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards for a well-established behavioral health organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll coordination
• Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Vendor management and reporting
• Oversee 1099 year end close
• Manage fixed assets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial reporting
