Speech Therapist

About This Role

This Speech Therapist role involves supporting acute care patients with a variety of medical diagnoses within a hospital setting. The primary focus is on evaluating and treating patients with conditions affecting speech, language, and swallowing.

Responsibilities

• Support acute care patients from physician orders throughout the hospital
• Address wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological cases
• Provide therapy for dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive impairments

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty
• Required BLS
• Required SPL
• Required CCC-SLP

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within specialty

Nice to Have

• Prior acute care experience
• MBS/FEES proficiency
