About This Role

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will clinically help patients restore communication and swallowing abilities. This role involves designing and executing personalized rehabilitation plans while working collaboratively with patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits
• Ensure effective and efficient delivery of rehabilitation services
• Design and execute personalized therapy plans with patients
• Address the whole patient and see them as an individual
• Restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities through program design
• Train patients and caregivers on skills needed to promote independence and productivity

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
