As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will clinically help patients restore communication and swallowing abilities. This role involves designing and executing personalized rehabilitation plans while working collaboratively with patients and caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Help patients communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits
- Ensure effective and efficient delivery of rehabilitation services
- Design and execute personalized therapy plans with patients
- Address the whole patient and see them as an individual
- Restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities through program design
- Train patients and caregivers on skills needed to promote independence and productivity
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area
- Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
