Speech Therapist (SLP)

About This Role

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will help patients regain their communication and swallowing abilities by designing and implementing individualized therapy plans. You will provide essential rehabilitation services to older adults and children, aiming to restore, reinforce, and enhance their speech and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute effective and efficient rehabilitation services for patients
• Help patients communicate, swallow, and diminish or remediate disorders or deficits
• Develop individualized programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities
• Adapt to the needs of the patient and work in various settings
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or Communicative Disorders
• Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in the state of practice

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
