About This Role

Join Powerback as a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients regain their communication and swallowing abilities. This role involves designing and executing personalized rehabilitation plans to improve patient independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and diminish disorders or deficits
• Take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services
• Design and execute rehabilitation plans with patients
• Address the whole patient and treat them as an individual
• Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities
• Adapt to the needs of the patient and thrive in a dynamic setting
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals as needed
• Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• State licensure, certification, or credentialing

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Entry-level position, new grads with mentorship support
