Join Powerback as a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients regain their communication and swallowing abilities. This role involves designing and executing personalized rehabilitation plans to improve patient independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Help patients communicate, swallow, and diminish disorders or deficits
- Take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services
- Design and execute rehabilitation plans with patients
- Address the whole patient and treat them as an individual
- Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities
- Adapt to the needs of the patient and thrive in a dynamic setting
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals as needed
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- State licensure, certification, or credentialing
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Entry-level position, new grads with mentorship support
