Speech Therapist

About This Role

This role involves screening, evaluating, and educating patients with various speech, language, and cognitive deficits. The Speech Therapist will plan and conduct rehabilitative and counseling programs, ensuring high-quality patient care in alignment with established policies.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and educate patients with speech, language, dysphagia, dysarthria, voice, fluency, and cognitive deficits
• Plan, direct, and conduct rehabilitative and counseling programs for communication and swallowing disorders
• Perform Speech Therapy treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Maintain the highest degree of quality patient care at all times
• Cover one weekend shift per month

Requirements

• Masters’ Degree from an accredited Speech Therapy school
• Current Louisiana State SLP License
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer knowledge
