As a Solution Advisor, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, specializing in Finance & Order to Cash solutions. You will support the entire sales cycle, from identification to post-sale support, delivering compelling presentations and leading strategic engagements to drive customer success.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-impact sales presentations and personalized software demonstrations
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer needs and tailor presentations
- Lead complex deals as a Solution Captain, coordinating multiple contributors
- Support RFx responses and provide limited post-sale guidance
- Engage with customers to continue selling the vision of SAP solutions
- Prepare Executive summary 'point of view' documents aligning solution benefits to customer goals
- Serve as the voice of the customer and sales liaison to Product Management, Product Development, and Product Strategy
- Lead and support sales and marketing events, both on-site and remote
- Facilitate Design Thinking workshops to inspire innovative customer solutions
- Participate in demo system planning, configuration, and testing of new product releases
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in an accounting or related finance role with an emphasis on consolidations
- Deep knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP and IFRS)
- Controlling and financial consolidation leadership experience within a large, multi-national organization
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business Suite – Financial Management, and business processes
- Proven record of developing, executing, reviewing, and distributing common Financial Statements
- Professional experience with large, multi-national organizations
- Experience with SAP Finance and Consolidation products as well as competitive platforms
- Strong understanding of Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, and hosted services in B2B environments
- Familiarity with SAP Cloud Suite Portfolio, RISE and GROW with SAP, and SAP Corporate Strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree and/or relevant certification (e.g. CPA) preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in an accounting or related finance role with an emphasis on consolidations.
