Solution Advisor Expert - HANA Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE)

About This Role

Act as the primary advisor for HANA Cloud migrations and data transformation engagements, guiding customers from on-premise systems to cloud-native data platforms. This role is critical in driving sales execution, deal velocity, and customer outcomes by providing expert guidance and solution architecture.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to advisor for HANA Cloud migrations and transformation engagements
• Guide customers on transitioning from legacy/on-premise systems to cloud-native data platforms
• Support account teams in structuring and progressing strategic HANA Cloud and IBM ASE cloud opportunities
• Deliver both standard and customized solution demonstrations
• Support the account teams in identifying and qualifying new opportunities
• Collaborate on creating overall themes and competitive differentiation
• Support execution of regional HANA Cloud campaigns and demand generation activities
• Engage in storytelling that connects HANA Cloud to tangible business outcomes and industry narratives
• Analyze industry and technology trends around data platforms, AI-readiness, and cloud transformations
• Partner with Customer Success, Product Management, Value Engineering, and Ecosystem teams to ensure customer success

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise data platforms, architecture, or solution advisory roles
• Deep knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, and cloud data management principles
• Experience driving or supporting large data migrations and transformation programs
• Strong understanding of hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid-cloud patterns
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value
• Excellent storytelling, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise data platforms, architecture, or solution advisory roles

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Business AI
• Experience with AI/ML adoption narratives and data-driven transformation strategies
• Prior exposure to pre-sales or sales execution support roles
• Understanding of SAP’s GTM motions and internal tools/processes
