Small Store Merchandiser

About This Role

This Merchandiser role is responsible for ensuring products are attractively displayed and well-stocked in various retail locations. The position involves engaging with store personnel and maintaining a strong product presence to drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Fill, merchandise, and rotate products in cold vaults and on shelves according to procedures and planograms
• Physically move product from sales floor to cold vault and displays
• Create and distribute point of sale materials on display and shelves as permitted
• Organize and maintain back room cooler by stacking and arranging product
• Arrange for the return of empty shells, damaged, and out-of-date product
• Foster business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up and communication regarding programs and opportunities

Requirements

• Effective communication skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively)
• Ability to work reliably and independently
• Critical thinking skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Nice to Have

• Prior customer service experience in a retail setting
• Valid in-state driver’s license
• Excellent driving history
• Proof of insurance policy
