Part Time Warehouse Order Builder 1st Shift

About This Role

The Warehouse Order Builder is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by accurately retrieving and stacking products onto pallets, aiming to meet or exceed company expectations for safety and efficiency. This role involves operating a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) to transport products.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and place cases of product onto a pre-determined pallet as instructed by the assigned Pick Ticket, ensuring stability and safety
• Travel to and transport pallets of stacked product to different areas of the Warehouse via a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) - Pallet Jack
• Assist in Warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
• Perform daily PIT Checklist and alert Warehouse Management of any issues discovered
• Correct any mistakes in product and/or quantity as informed by the Checker
• Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere while walking and repetitively lifting 30 lbs.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED
• Up to 12 months relevant work experience
• PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification: Pallet Jack
