Shift Lead

About This Role

The Shift Lead is responsible for opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and ensuring the store is ready for business operations. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and supporting store operations and team member development.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including system start-ups and cash handling procedures
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and manage cash drops
• Engage customers and patients, offering assistance and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience
• Coach team members on customer service best practices and ordering processes
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with order exceptions and reverse logistics
• Evaluate and develop merchandise displays, including promotional and seasonal items
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
• Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports and bill payments
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance
• Serve as a liaison between management and non-management team members, communicating assigned tasks and reporting issues

Requirements

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of store inventory control
• Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state
