Shift Lead

About This Role

As a Shift Lead, you will manage store opening and closing procedures, handle cash, ensure store readiness, and assist customers, contributing to a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops to the safe.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members.
• Assists with and coaches other team members on the warehouse and vendor ordering process.
• Registers all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors and price verifications.
• Assists manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics.
• Assists manager or assistant store manager in evaluating and developing displays.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and ensures proper signage for pricing.
• Assists with bookkeeping activities, including cash report, cash counts, and bill payment.
• Ensures clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
• Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Serves as a liaison between management and non-management team members by communicating assigned tasks.
• Reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

Requirements

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

• Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state
