Shift Lead

About This Role

Lead store operations and customer service in the absence of management, ensuring efficient daily flow, accurate cash handling, and an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including system start-ups and cash handling
• Prepare the floor and stock room for the business day and manage deliveries
• Process product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops
• Engage customers and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members
• Assist with and coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes
• Register all related sales accurately on the cash register
• Assist in reviewing order exceptions and managing reverse logistics
• Evaluate and develop displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and daily price changes

Requirements

• 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of store inventory control
