Shift Lead

About This Role

The Shift Lead is responsible for opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and ensuring operational readiness. This role also focuses on delivering a distinctive customer experience and supports overall store operations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including system start-ups and cash handling
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
• Engage customers and patients, offering assistance and resolving issues
• Assist with and coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes
• Accurately register all sales on the cash register and handle related tasks
• Assist manager in reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics
• Assist manager in evaluating and developing displays, including resets and revisions
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper signage for pricing
• Assist with bookkeeping activities, exterior/interior maintenance, and pharmacy out window duties

Requirements

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience

• Knowledge of store inventory control
