About This Role

As a Shift Lead, you will manage store opening and closing procedures, oversee cash handling, and provide exceptional customer service. You will also assist with inventory management, merchandising, and team coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the store, including system startups and cash handling duties
  • Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops
  • Provide distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and resolving issues
  • Assist with and coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes
  • Register all related sales on assigned cash register, including handling errors and modifications
  • Assist manager in reviewing order exceptions and managing reverse logistics
  • Assist in evaluating and developing displays (promotional, seasonal, super structures, sale merchandise)
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper signage for pricing
  • Assist with bookkeeping activities including cash reports and bill payments
  • Ensure clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance, requesting repairs as needed
  • Serve as liaison between management and non-management team members, communicating tasks
  • Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management

Requirements

  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

Qualifications

  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of store inventory control
  • Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license (as required by state)
