Shift Lead

About This Role

As a Shift Lead, you will manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and customer service, in the absence of store management. You will also be responsible for supporting inventory management and training team members.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including system startups, cash handling, and preparing the store for business
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and provide change for cash registers
• Engage customers and patients, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience
• Coach team members on customer service best practices and Walgreens service traits
• Assist with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including receiving deliveries
• Register all sales on assigned cash register, including scanning error records and price modifications
• Assist in reviewing order exceptions and managing reverse logistics
• Evaluate and develop promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise displays
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper signage for pricing
• Assist with bookkeeping activities and ensure a clean, neat, and orderly store condition

Requirements

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
