Shift Lead

About This Role

The Shift Lead is responsible for opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and ensuring operational readiness. This role also involves delivering excellent customer service and coaching team members on store processes.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including system start-ups and cash handling, and prepare the store for the business day
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provide change to cash registers
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, resolving issues and answering questions
• Hold store keys and assist with and coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register, including scanning errors, price verifications, and modifications
• Assist manager in reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics processes
• Evaluate and develop displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure accuracy of on-hand quantities
• Assist with the Outdate program and ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
