About This Role

Lead store operations and provide exceptional customer service at Walgreens by supervising day-to-day activities, opening and closing the store, and assisting with various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Opens and closes the store, including system start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring readiness for business
  • Completes product returns, voids, refunds, cash drops, and provides change for registers
  • Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and resolving issues
  • Works with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including receiving deliveries
  • Registers all related sales on assigned cash register, including error records and price verifications
  • Assists in reviewing order exceptions and managing reverse logistics (e.g., returns)
  • Evaluates and develops merchandise displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale items
  • Maintains accurate inventory counts and ensures proper signage for pricing accuracy
  • Assists with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports, counts, and bill payments
  • Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products

Requirements

  • 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

Qualifications

  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of store inventory control

Certifications

PTCB certification or pharmacy license (as required by state) (Required)
