Shift Lead

About This Role

As a Shift Lead, you will manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring the store is ready for business. You will also provide a delightful customer experience and assist with various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including system startups and cash handling
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops
• Engage customers and patients, offering assistance and resolving issues
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members
• Assist with warehouse and vendor ordering processes
• Register all related sales on cash register and manage scanning errors
• Assist with reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics
• Evaluate and develop displays, complete resets and revisions
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper signage for pricing
• Assist with bookkeeping activities and ensure a clean and orderly store condition
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
• Serve as liaison between management and non-management team members

Requirements

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience

• Knowledge of store inventory control
