Shift Lead

About This Role

As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and ensuring operational readiness. You will also deliver a distinctive customer experience and support team members in various store operations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including system startups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist and coach team members regarding warehouse and vendor ordering processes.
• Register sales accurately on cash registers, including error records and price verifications.
• Assist with reviewing order exceptions and managing reverse logistics.
• Evaluate and develop displays, complete resets and revisions.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and proper signage for pricing.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities including cash reports and bill payments.
• Ensure store cleanliness and assist with interior and exterior maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Serve as liaison between management and non-management team members, communicating tasks.
• Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

Requirements

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
