Shift Lead

About This Role

The Shift Lead is responsible for opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and ensuring operational readiness. This role also focuses on delivering a distinctive customer experience and coaching team members.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including system start-ups and cash handling procedures
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and provide assistance to ensure a positive customer experience
• Coach team members on customer service best practices and operational tasks
• Assist with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including receiving deliveries
• Register all sales accurately on the cash register and handle pricing adjustments
• Assist in reviewing order exceptions and managing reverse logistics (e.g., 1506, returns)
• Evaluate and develop product displays, including promotional and seasonal merchandise
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper signage for pricing
• Assist with bookkeeping activities, store maintenance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory product laws

Requirements

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

Qualifications
