Shift Lead

About This Role

The Shift Lead is responsible for opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and ensuring operational readiness. This role also focuses on delivering excellent customer service and assisting with inventory and display management.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including system start-ups and cash handling
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops
• Engage customers and patients, answer questions, and resolve issues
• Coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register, including error records and price verifications
• Assist manager in reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics
• Evaluate and develop displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities
• Ensure compliance with the Outdate program and proper pricing/signage
• Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports and bill payments

Requirements

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of store inventory control
• Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state
