This Shift Lead role involves opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and ensuring operational readiness. The position focuses on providing excellent customer service and assisting with various store operations, including inventory and vendor processes.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the store, including system startups and cash handling duties
- Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops
- Engage with customers, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience
- Coach team members on customer service best practices
- Assist with warehouse and vendor ordering processes
- Register all sales on the cash register and handle price verifications
- Assist manager with order exceptions and reverse logistics
- Evaluate and develop product displays, including promotional and seasonal merchandise
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper signage for pricing
- Assist with bookkeeping activities and maintain store cleanliness
Requirements
- One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
Qualifications
- One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of store inventory control
Certifications
PTCB certification or pharmacy license (if required by state)
