About This Role

This role is responsible for opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and ensuring the store is ready for business operations. It focuses on providing excellent customer service and coaching team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the store, including system start-ups and cash handling
  • Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and provide change for cash registers
  • Engage customers and patients, offering assistance and resolving issues to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Coach team members on customer service best practices and Walgreens service traits
  • Assist with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders
  • Register all related sales on the cash register and manage scanning errors, price verifications, and voids
  • Assist in reviewing order exceptions and managing reverse logistics (e.g., returns)
  • Evaluate and develop displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise, and complete resets/revisions
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure the accuracy of on-hand quantities
  • Ensure the Outdate program is followed with team members and manage basic department pricing and daily price changes

Requirements

  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of store inventory control
