Shift Lead

About This Role

The Shift Lead at Diversified Restaurant Group is responsible for supporting management by running shifts independently and leading teams effectively. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to solve problems while guiding others, ensuring excellent customer service and operational standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and team members with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Ensure great service and food for every guest, working with a sense of urgency
• Cooperate with other management and team members, providing help when needed
• Act as a role model by prioritizing customer needs and resolving complaints promptly
• Ensure all team members maintain a neat appearance and correctly wear the company uniform
• Supervise team members to ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately
• Lead shifts as Manager in Charge, upholding company standards for service, food safety, and procedures
• Provide constructive and complimentary feedback to the team
• Actively participate in the training and development of Team Members
• Assist with Profit and Loss management, cash control, inventory, and labor management
• Provide regular performance feedback to the Restaurant General Manager and other management

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• One-year Restaurant experience with proven lead experience on all shifts
• Current Health Card according to state or local requirements
• Basic math & reading skills
• Ability to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English
• Reliable transportation
• Pass Criminal Background Check
• ServSafe Certification Course and Exam
