About This Role

Lead and direct the organization to operational excellence and financial success through strategic initiatives, overseeing asset management, capital planning, resident care, quality assurance, culinary, and regional operations for a senior living provider.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, consult, and mentor Operational leaders including VPs and AVPs of Resident Care and Quality Assurance, Asset Management, Capital Planning, and Regional Operational Leaders
  • Refine and implement business plans to enhance the financial performance of communities/regions to ensure strategic growth
  • Ensure utilization of expense management system and discipline throughout the organization
  • Build and maintain relationships with capital partners and key stakeholders
  • Oversee Flexchoice program, evaluating effectiveness and refinement of economics
  • Oversee CAPEX process and program
  • Provide input to senior team regarding new brands and products
  • Manage the organization’s operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies
  • Communicate a clear, resident focused vision
  • Review annual resident satisfaction survey and oversee development and deployment of programs to increase resident satisfaction
  • Manage and oversee the regional operational leaders holding team accountable for achievement of specific and organization wide goals
  • Develop plan to meet NOI expectations
  • Ensure budgeted revenue is achieved or exceeded by maximizing occupancy
  • Develop and execute plans to increase occupancy
  • Review monthly financial statements, implement plans of action with Regional DOs for deficiencies
  • Maintain strong knowledge of competition

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a Senior Living leadership role with budgetary, financial and occupancy responsibilities
